I didn't want to release this but had no choice.
Updated: 2/24/22...Review and critique of 'Windfall of Grace', a Maharaji biopic/documentary by Japna Tulsi, supposedly.
But first, my new name Ron in God. Our Maharaji means in Hindi a Hindu prince ranking above a raja. Maybe a king. Ron is from Rex, which is English for king. And Ravi Dass. Venerated as a guru (teacher) in the region of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and mainly Punjab and Haryana. He was a poet-saint, social reformer and a spiritual figure. A realized being, same lineage as Maharaji. Are you following?
Who was Steve Jobs guru?
Steve Jobs, along with his friend Dan Kottke, traveled to India in April 1974 to study Hinduism and Indian spirituality; they planned also to meet Neem Karoli Baba, but arrived to find the guru had died the previous September. Maharaji was good at making people wealthy. I am a wealthy ‘bird’.
Zuckerberg did not name the temple but the Steve Jobs connection leads one straight to Neem Karoli Baba, the spiritual guru whose ashram the late CEO of Apple visited in 1974. ... None (including Jobs) met the baba, though.
Later, our resourceful Dr. Larry Brilliant, when he headed the Google Foundation, took many Google execs to Kainchi.
So this film, ‘Windfall of Grace’ was released on April 21, 2021 and I just heard about it a few days ago, obviously Maharaji kept it hidden from me, why, I will not tell. Seems like this Indian lady Ms. Japna Tulsi, who had never met Maharaji made the film and this is important. I never believe the bullshit about people falling over their feet as devotees of Maharaji because they had a strong thought of him while taking a shower. There is nothing like spending two years with him in India. Just puts these people as a mark for donations to Taos Temple or Ram Dass’s foundation which has a big payroll. Americans are the most gullible people spiritually in the world for gurus to prey on. Do you ever read the yoga news?
And you know my mother always said if you don’t have nice things to say about somebody, keep your mouth shut. Thanks mom, but it has to be said, it’s a global cosmic thing, not Simpson St. gossip with Stella.

Dear Japna,
My dear girl, did you know what you were getting yourself into by producing this film? They are using you to set up Krishna Das to succeed Ram Dass, who recently died. Or maybe even succeed Maharaji. Who bribed you, who paid you? I’ve heard of this conspiracy, this spoof way back but I see with your film it’s trying to come to reality. That is a joke, he has as much charisma compared to Ram Dass as a pillow. He doesn’t sing bhajans at all nor ever studied them and is totally beneath true Indian singers. He moans his kirtans, not sings, same with Jai Uttal who used to be better with the Pagan Love Orchestra. Dr. Larry Brilliant would be the only one to be accepted or well known or Dan Goleman, Ph.D, the writer and psychologist.
My comments, take it or leave it. There will be war (not the Ukraine kind).
1.    Why is there so very little on Ram Dass in this film, film content maybe minutes. Where is some footage of his thousand wonderful, historic talks. Why do you think Maharaji picked him. Because he had the gift of Saraswati, speech chakra. Maharaji did not want to speak English or go to America. (Another reason he left his body early, left, haha.)
2.    No mention of Be Here Now, the book that changed the world, without which Maharaji would be a dead yogi, never known in the USA. The most stupid script decision I’ve ever seen. I have been in movies and was a producer of a well-known TV show at Akaku, Maui. I’ve been involved in so many marketing films, I can’t count them.
3.    No mention even of Bhagavan Das, a scoundrel for sure, but he took RD to Maharaji (and I took him as Michael Riggs, who couldn’t find his way out of Athens to India.)
4.    My professional son and his friends, Sr. Operations Manager at the SF Symphony would laugh at your USA interviews and all that Hindi babbling for 165 minutes, sometimes with no subtitles. It’s at most a 60 minute documentary. NO one you cast ever had a real job in his or her lives. That is unacceptable in America now. Where are the American women like Mirabai or Sita. Maharaji made sure I worked 40 years and receive SSA and IBM pension and my family even gets $5000 from IBM to bury me. Ask Mr. Rich Kid Rameshwar Das where he gets his money? Does Krishna Das get SSA, has he ever paid any taxes or Mohan, for sure no one significant.
5.    Peter Mt. Shasta is not even a devotee; he’s been into the Mt. Shasta occult for 50 years. And who the hell is Kartik...edit him out. Do you want young people in America to laugh at you? Your film is full of hippies. Thank God for Dr. Larry.
6.    And we don’t go backward, cut out all that Hanuman crap. All these guys including RD and KD and Larry are Jewish. We don’t worship idols. It’s time for all you Hindus to grow up. Throw all those idols into the Ganges. Don’t you understand Brahman and the Vedas, all those idols were for uneducated spiritual farmers to understand religion.
7.    Without Ram Dass, Maharaji devotee’s stories are nothing of note. Is he like Christ, did he heal anyone, I remember that of Maharaji, but you left it out. Can he walk on water or raise the dead? We don’t need Maharaji in the USA; we have the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ. Remember Hanuman and Christ are one. Keep him in India. The Ramayana is for kindergarten.
8.    And why do you put that Taos knucklehead Kane on air. He has done nothing but steal money to build that stupid shrine to a monkey idol that Ram Dass couldn’t figure out what to do with. I told him to put it in the Rio Grande. We don’t worship idols or monkeys in the US. Wake up and stop taking over our country. Go fix Thailand. Stop gang raping women.
9.    And next time whisper to Dr. Larry to look presentable. Your show is full of old deadbeat hippies, good luck with that in Silicon Valley.
10. You need to read about Shivapuri Baba to understand where Maharaji came from and how America got into Hinduism, and thank God got pushed out by Buddhist mindfulness, no idols! I can tell where to go in Nepal to re-educate yourself in Sanatan Dharma.
11. And why don’t you give credit or interview Ravi Khanna, he’s the one who drove Maharaji to Vrindavan and the hospital to die. Why did he die, because he wanted to get away from the damn hounding sex and drug maniac freeloading USA hippies.
12. You never connected KK to being Ram Dass’s key interpreter. At least you had some film of him.
13. And why isn’t Siddhi Ma in the film in a major way. Who cut her out? And believe me we were not that close. She was my sister.
14. You left out the three best photos: I won’t blame Mohan because we were friends up until a month ago when he sent me the rudest text out of the blue. Maybe flipped out about Covid doing nothing. My book ‘The Sacred Wanderer’ is rather long and no one has time but you won’t understand who I am until you’ve read it. And see Maharaji’s real powers.
I will wait for your rapid response. I am going to publish this in my blog in 24 hours and see what happens. No one can hurt me don’t worry.
Blessings,
Ravi Dass
Ron in God
PS-There’s a very good reason I didn’t hear about your film till now. Maharaji knows and plans. He has kept me out of sight here in Thailand for 11 years. He can hide anything in our minds easily. His power was in what was not seen or heard.

Here are some other photos that could have made your film less of a mess:

Well, all for now. I’m sure I made a lot of friends (not that I need any). Sorry Japna.
Bye for now. Ron in God, Ravi Dass.
